We can’t fully love ourselves if we only love the good parts of ourselves. We can’t be whole if we can’t accept the hard to love parts of ourselves.
We are a whole human—beautiful, messy, broken, and everything in between.
Healing doesn’t come from getting fixed but rather comes from accepting the parts of ourselves that we grew up resisting or hating. The things we were told about ourselves growing up or the things that someone has done to us that made us feel less than enough.
Give God your broken pieces and make peace with them. Here are some biblical verses to help remind you of your worth and your wholeness in God.

Four Bible Verses For Self Worth
Psalm 139:13-16 – You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) – For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Isaiah 61:1 & 3 – He has sent me to…bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
Deuteronomy 31:8 – Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.
