I shared my homemade mac and cheese over on my instagram awhile ago and a lot of people showed interest and asked for the recipe. It inspired me to make a blog post and share it here. It’s a family favorite and my toddler boys absolutely love it. Everything is better homemade and you know exactly what is in it which is a bonus for me. Plus, it is super easy to make and so delicious. Recipe is below and if you can’t make this right now, go ahead and pin this recipe to your pinterest so you can have it when you are ready to try it!

Homemade Mac and Cheese Recipe
Bring a pot of water to boil & put your noodles in.
While your noodles are cooking, put another pot on medium heat and put your butter in. When the butter is melted, add your flour. Stir the butter and flower until it starts to thicken up. Be careful not to burn. Then add your milk, bring it to a boil. Add your garlic and salt. If you are adding sour cream and chives this is the place to do so. Stir. Then take the pot off the burner and add your cheese. Stir until cheese is blended.
Once your noodles are done, drain them. Then pour your cheese sauce over the noodles. Stir. And there ya have it! Homemade mac and cheese done in less than 20 minutes. So easy and so good!
