Homeschool Preschool Must Haves

I recently made the decision to homeschool preschool my oldest son who is now four years old. It has been a journey thus far and one I am still learning how to navigate. But I finally feel comfortable sharing my homeschool preschool journey now that we are about six months in. It hasn’t been easy by any means. It has been a huge learning curve for both myself and my son. We had to establish a new routine, adapt my expectations to the reality, and learn how to cater to how my son learns. Because it is not an easy decision to make but the first step is making that decision so I am proud of you. The next step is just starting. If you are a bit of a perfectionist like me, then starting can be a bit overwhelming. But I am here to tell you that you can let that pressure to get it right go. You are going to learn so much about yourself and your little as you start this journey. And much like parenting, you are going to tweak and tweak to figure out what works best for your child and you. So with that being said, let’s get started!

I’m starting with sharing all the essentials you need for homeschool preschool because you can’t get started without the materials. And also, if I started going over curriculum things then you will quickly fall into overwhelm. Below are all the things that I use for homeschool preschool and has made my journey of teaching my four year old that much smoother.

For Tracing Practice:

6 Pack Dry Erase Pockets Sleeves, 10 x 13 inches, Assorted Colors

These dry erase pockets have been a life saver! This way you don’t have to waste a bunch of paper or have to constantly print tracing practice sheets over and over. It’s great for littles practicing their writing skills.

And of course you need some dry erase markers for the dry erase pockets. You can get the larger ones if your little has a hard time grasping/writing with the smaller ones.

EXPO White Board Cleaner, 8 oz.

You don’t absolutely need the spray but it does help a ton with keeping the dry erase pocket sheets nice and clean!
