When I was a new mom to my first son and beginning my journey as a nursing mama, I had no clue what I really needed. I actually didn’t buy anything related to breastfeeding until after I had my son besides one cheap nursing bra. After I had my son and realized I needed more than one nursing bra, I went on Amazon and just bought a three pack for pretty cheap. They were just straight forward nursing sport bras, not cute at all but were functional. For whatever reason, as a first time mom, I didn’t treat myself when it came to nursing apparel.
Now that it is my second time around, I know how important nursing apparel really is. If you plan on breastfeeding, it is so worth the investment. I was in search of new nursing bras that were more than your typical nursing bra. A nursing bra that could not only be comfortable but cute like my regular bras I wore before my babies. I came across a company during my search that I quickly fell in love with and could not be more excited to share it with you all.

The company was started by a nursing mama (which I love) just like you and I so she knows exactly what we need. They have nursing bras, nursing tanks, and nursing pads designed to build confidence in our new bodies during motherhood.
If you’ve been around a minute then you know that I have been struggling with body image my second pregnancy. Your body changes so much post pregnancy and even though I will forever be grateful for my body for giving me my babies, it is still hard some days to love my body in the current state that it is in. Not only am I struggling with that but I haven’t bought a non nursing bra is over two years. If you have ever searched the internet or stores for “cute” or “sexy” nursing bras, then you know that they are very hard to find. I have never owned a nursing bra that made me feel confident or sexy. That is why I am SO excited and grateful that I found Oh La Lari.
I think it is so important for mamas to feel confident in their bodies and nursing mamas deserve to feel sexy too. Oh La Lari gifted me a nursing bra, nursing camisole, and nursing pads so I can review for you all. I have been wearing all three items for a week now and I am so happy with all three products so far. Below are my reviews on each product so keep reading for all the details.
Nursing Bra
I picked out the french grey nursing bra (they also have nude and black). Their sizing can be found on their website and it was really easy to follow. The nursing bra fits me true to size. It is such a pretty and delicate bra. The lace detail on the bra is everything. As soon as I tried it on, I felt so beautiful. I haven’t had that feeling since having my second baby.
Not only does this bra make me feel sexy and beautiful but it is comfy and easy to adjust. You can cross the bra in the back for extra support which is a great option to have. It’s easy to unclasp and tuck the bra under for nursing. The fabric is soft and not itchy. The quality is amazing. It has everything I would want in a nursing bra plus the added factor of making me feel sexy which is SO hard to find in a nursing bra.
Nursing Camisole
With my first son, I never purchased nursing tank tops. I can’t tell you how many times I had to go somewhere private because I had to fully take my shirt off. Or how ridiculous I looked trying to adjust myself under the breastfeeding cover in public. It got to the point where I had serious anxiety when I had to breastfeed anywhere else but the comfort of my home.
I now know my second time around that a good nursing cami can make ALL the difference in making nursing a breeze. Oh La Lari’s nursing cami puts the ones I purchased to shame. Their nursing camisole has a built in bra (which is so nice) and the material is stretchy which is necessary because hello postpartum body. It’s also so cute with the lace trim around the top. I picked out the white but they have black, nude, dusty rose, and a grey. It’s definitely my go to apparel to wear around the house and perfect tank to wear out under clothes.
Nursing Pads
Oh La Lari’s nursing pads are the softest nursing pads I have owned! They are organic and reusable. They come in a 6 piece set. You don’t have to worry about buying disposable pads all the time. Plus, they are way more comfortable than disposable. The nursing pads came in a cute carrier bag so you can keep them in one place and not have to worry about losing them.
They also fit really well in the bra. Some of the ones I owned previously move around a lot and in result can be very uncomfortable. But I wore these pads all day and didn’t have to readjust them! I got the large/x large size since I got a large size in the bra.
In Conclusion
Every mama deserves to feel confident, beautiful, and sexy. This is the kind of self care that is easy to implement for a busy mama. This is something I never knew I needed in a nursing bra.
