Are your expecting baby number two and nervous about how you are going to adjust? Or if you will be able to handle it? Will you love another just as much? I had all the above questions and concerns. I was of course so excited to meet our second boy and to watch my oldest become a big brother. But with them being so close, I had a lot of nerves.

But mama, don’t spend your time worrying (I know, easier said than done). Because you will figure it out and the overwhelming love of meeting your newest little addition conquers those difficult times. That love continues to grow as you watch your two babies love one another. And soon, all those worries and fears you had disappear. 💗

Preparing For Baby Number Two And What to Expect with:

♥ Your time alone will be even more limited but you’ll figure out ways to find patches of time to yourself.

♥ You’ll learn that asking for help is even MORE important the second time around.

♥ You’ll realize how the heck your days felt so busy and chaotic with one baby. This also means that you can handle two. Some days with ease and other days not so much and that’s OKAY.

♥ You won’t worry so much about your newborn. You know all the little weird things newborns do that were scary with your first are totally normal. But there will be times where you will feel like a first time mom. Because babies are so different. But like you figured it out with your first, you will figure it out with your second too.

♥ You’ll learn to combine their schedules as much as you can. Same feed and nap times. This gets easier as the babies get older too.

♥ It will take double the time to get out of the house but you’ll learn to start the process of getting ready an hour before you leave (because hello toddlerhood).

♥ Your second baby will grow up way faster than your first. It seems this way because you are busy with two now than one. Also, my second seems to want to do everything that my oldest does. Milestones come quicker.

♥ You will have so much joy watching your babies play together.

♥ You won’t be consumed with documenting every feed and sleep your second baby is getting like you may have done with your first.

♥ Going anywhere even grocery shopping takes planning. There may even be places you won’t go since you have two babies.

Bottomline is you will adjust and adapt. You won’t be able to remember how life was before.♥️ I promise you will do so well, Mama. There is no better caregiver for your children than YOU. Trust me, you will surprise yourself more than you think.
